HAWERA SUCCESSES

AT INGLEWOOD CARNIVAL

A number of Hawera swimmers' were successful at the first carnival held under the auspices of the Inglewood Swimming Club last night. I>. Laing came first in the men’s 50 yards race; F. Grant, second in the men’s dive; Bryan llawson second in the 100 -ards nien’s breast stroke, and Miss Syme second in "the ladies’ dive. Laing and Rawson were the scratch men in their respective races. The results are considered as reflecting the greatest credit on Hawera swimmers.
