ULTRA -AH CROBE DISCOVERED. NEW YORK, Dec. 27. » Ultra-microbes, which are reported to spread immunity in the same manner as disease germs spread epidemics, have been discovered by Dr. Robert Green, of the University of Alinnesota, states the Minneapolis correspondent of the New York WPrld. Although invisible even under the strongest microscope, they can be made into a serum so deadly that one drop will kill the most highly •developed culture of pneumonia, typhoid fever, or diphtheria. Dr. Green said: “The ultra-microbe is the smallest unit of life thus far found. The situation is analogous to that of 100 years ago, when the identity of bacteria wa,s first definitely established. It will profoundly affect future medical progress. “A liquid containing the ultramicrobe is made by filtering bacteria cultures through stone. Experiments show that one drop will kill 'the strongest infections of germs. “An important factor is that it spreads immunity in the same way as disease now becomes epidemic.
