Winston Churchill received the tending All Blacks at the Crillion * last evening and talked over the match with them. At a dinner in honour of the All Blacks and the French teams, Mr S. Dean, the New Zeaalnd manager, emphasised the pleasure the AIL Blacks felt at the really warm and friendly welcome they had received from the French public. The captain, Porter, paid a tribute to the clean and plucky play of the French team. The French made many enthusiastic references to the perfection of the All Blanks’ game. A letter was read from Peltey, who was in hospital, suffering from a fractured leg. expressing his satisfaction that despite his accident he had been able to participate in the match till the last minute, llorrurirr, who also was not present, continued to play for half an hour in considerable pain, owing to a strained cartilege, before lie retired. The French team to meet the All Blacks at Toulouse differs in nine instances from that beaten at Colombes, and with three exceptions will be the same as was defeated by Ireland. It is as follows: —Full-back. Cbilo ; threequarters, Jaurreguv. Ballarin, Billette ; five-eighths, Besson and Piteu; half. Dumanoir; forwards, Maury, Marcel, Montade, Cassa.yet, Laurent, Bicussa, Ribeyre. and Piquiral.
