£500,000 A YEAR INCOME TAX. NEW YORK, Oct. 23. Mr. Henry Ford, the richest man in tlie world, paid'£soo,ooo in income tax last year. In addition, his factory paid £2,900,000. These facts arc now known for the first time because the law abolishing income tax secrecy and throwing the lists of payments open to public inspection came into force to-day. Mr. Ford’s income last year must have been more than £1,000.000.
