IMPORTANT MOVE. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Jam 12. 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 10. The Daily Express says .that enormous numbers of shares in the British South Africa Company have changed hands during the last two days, and the price lias risen to 22s 3d, an increase of 3s 9d. The Express says that Southern Rhodesia is seeking to liny out tile company and is endeavouring to induce the South African Government to join in the deal.
