Marx has informed President Ebert that he will not be able to form the so-called business Government on nonoar tv lines. . Marx’s decision is the sequel to a declaration this afternoon by Stresemnnn’s People’s Party to oppose a Government composed ol the Centre Party or Democrats. or including imdev-secret-fH.vs as Ministers. As a result, whatever cabinet Marx formed would have a minority in the Reichstag, as the smaller parties would also oppose it. Dr. Streseinann apparently holds the key to the situation, which is uneera’rt’ is reported that President Ebert •vill request Finance Minister Luther to form a Cabinet-. Dither is a nononrlv man. to whom Nationalist tendencies are attributed. His Governmentw ould certainly veer to the Right Pan-} and encounter bitter opposition from .Socialists and Democrats.
