A.t the inquest on the Croydon air disaster victims the Coroner stated that Captain Hincholitfe. the pilot who was flying the machine, had some days before December 24 complained of engine trouble. Hinchclille actually flew the machine back towards Croydon on the morning of December '24. The jury must consider whether reasonable c-are was taken in order to make the machine fit for the journey, and to decide whether the deaths were due to misadventure or negligence.
