EXTRA EDITION.

A WARNING

(by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON. Jan. 9.

In view of the continued reporting of suspected cases of infantile paralysis, the Director-General of Public Health has written the churches stating that it is highly desirable that Sunday schools, which have been closed for the holidays,- should not re-open for the present. No action has been taken in regard to day schools, as they do not re-open until after the end of the month.
