MANAWATU MEETING CONCLUDING DAY. PALMERSTON N., Dec. 29. For the concluding day of Manawatu meeting the weather was threatening. There was another large attendance. Results: Hurdles—Waioeka Jack 1, Demagogue 2, Little River 3. All started. Ten lengths separated first and second, and a neck second and third horses. Time, 3.19 4-5. Whitmore Handicap—Potoanui 1, Bonnie Nurse 2, All Gold 3. All started. Won by a length and a half. Time, 1.21 1-5. Juvenile Handican—Gaillard 1, Lady Bentinc-k -2, Gold Box 3. Scratched: Stannard.
