' ■— -• r-rr .(From. Our Own Correspondent.) A gathering of all those interested in the Sunday School took place in the Sunday School Hall on Monday evening. The district was well, represented, and a Christmas tree had been provided for the children. Father Christinas, who was :a little late, owing to being delayed in the Pokomoko Gorge by a sharp shower, arrived in good spirits, and was received with due honours, giving every child a present: On his departure special Sunday School prizes were presented by Rev. W. Oxbrow: For neatness J of textbook, Noeline Wallace 1, Jean Sorenson 2; attendance, M. McGlashan 1, M. Wallace 2, T. Wallace 3, D. Wallace -4. Cheers were given for Mr and Mrs D. J. Williams, who carry on the Sunday School classes throughout the:. year, and who also see that prizes, a Christmas tree and, a picnic are provided, for annually. It seemed lifie old times to see Mrs Hutchison, a former superintendent of the Sunday School, helping in the preparations.
