CHURCH SERVICES

CHRISTMAS DAY. There were services at some of the churches ou Christmas Day. At St. Mary’s Church there were largely, attended communion services at 7 a.m. and 8 a..m. and morning sei’vice at 11 a.m. At the Catholic Church there was special Mass at midnight, when the Mass, “Bordese” in G Minor, was sung by the children’s choir. There were also six Masses ; and Vespers during the day, and all were largely attended. The service at the Presbyterian Church was at 8 a.m. and at the Methodist Church at 7.30 p.m., ana both were weU attended.
