BOWLING.
There will be play on both the Hawera and Park greens on Christmas Day. On Boxing Day Hawera Club are holding a progressive tournament. Five rjnks from Park will go to Waverley for a full day’s play, the motor ’bus (carrying sixteen) ieaving the gre<m at 8 a.m. A private, car will take the remainder. All can depend upon receiving a right royal reception at Waverley, and all that is required is a fine day.
On New Year’s Day'Park Club will hold a progressive pairs tournament.
