ne police are investigating the aileged murderous attack by Lany, a well-known Russian Communist, against Klebotf, an ex-Russian officer, who is now driving a taxi-cab’for a' living. It is alleged that; Lany engaged the taxi for a long drive in the suburbs, and when passing a quiet park shot Kleboff five times and left him lying wounded m the road way: Lany took the (wheel himself, but he had to visit a garage owing to a breakdown; The mechanics became suspicious, and the police were called in.
