The jury at Naples, had just found a peasant named Sabatino guilty. of the murder .of a missing butcher, with whom he quarrelled, when the latter rushed / into court. He explained that Sabatino, during a fight, knocked him senseless. Afterwards he suffered from loss of memory, strayed away, and had only recovered that day, when he first learned of the trial. ; '
