Eights are inclined to he easier, in havers’ favour. ADDINGTON, MARKET. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 17. There were large entries at Addington in practically all sections of stock. Fat lambs and fat cattle showed a decided firming, but other classes were-* unaltered in value. lat Jambs.—Butchers paid to near 14d for light, lambs; extra prime lambs, 47s to 495; a special line, ,to 51s; prime. 43s to 46s fid: medium lambs, 39s 6d to 42s 6d; light lambs, 33s'to 395.
Eat- sheep.—-An irregular market, hut generally up to last week’s rates! Exporters operated to a limited extent. Extra prime wethers, 52s Id ; prime 45s to 4Rs ; medium, 40s to 445; light, 34s 6d to 39s 6d: rough. 31s 6d to 345; extra prime ewes, to 46s 9d; prime, 40s to 42s 6d; medium, 34s fid to 395; light and inferior. 31s to 345. Fat cattle. —The market was better in the .earlier stages by 30s per head, but slipped back over the final part.
