YOUNG MAN’S SUICIDE.
SHOOTING AFFRAY. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT SYDNEY, Dec. 15. While the Lennard family and several visitors were sitting at a; table in Lennard’s home at Keinbah, near Cessnock, a shot was heard and Mary 'Little, aged thirteen, fell with a bullet through the shoulder. The bullet ricoclietied and struck Lily Lennard, aged seventeen, in the shoulder. A second shot followed, and wounded, Jack Goodwin, aged twenty-six, ialso in the shoulder.
Rushing outside, the other inmates saw' Claude Goodsby. aged twenty-two, place a revolver to his head, fire, and fall mortaflly wounded. The other victims _ were sent to hospital, but their iniuries are not dangerous. Jealousy is believed to be the motive for the crime, as Goodsby had been keeping company with Lily Lennar d.
