COMMUNITY LIGHTING.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) NEW ERA FOR ELTHAM. The community electric lighting system for the business section of the Borough of EStham, also the main street system, was turned on on Saturday night and proved most satisfactory. It was a vast improvement over the old previously gas lighted streets. No ceremony was held owing to the Uncertainty of the power being available. The supply of electric light and power will mean a new era. for the town. The streets and the town generaly will have a distinctly brighter appearance, and many small industries will be able to develop more progressively. It is expected that lighting for the streets other than the' business area will be available in the near future.
