PEDIGREE FRIESIAN SALE.
“RACELANDS” HERD. The pedigree herd of Friesian Cattle owned by Messrs. U. M. Clifford Bros., “Raoeiancls,':' .Lepperton, wa** submitted lor unreserved sale by Newton King, Ltd., at the farm on Thursday alter noon. The catalogue' comprised upwards of 50 lots and included many very fashionably-bred animals, but there was not a', very keen demand. Top price of the sale was 50 guineas, while the females, including yearlings, but excluding this year’s calves, averaged about 20 guineas. Mr. Ken. Kirk wielded the hammer and no effort was spared on his part to extract the very last hid on every lot that came to' the ring.
