HAWKE CUP PRELIMINARY. Cry telegraph—press association. MARTON, Dec. 10. In the Hawke Cup eliminating round cricket match between Rangitikei and Wanganui to T day the wicket was heavy. Rangitikei, in the first innings, made 219 for the loss of eight wickets. Rain stopped play, which will be resumed on 'Thursday. Nelson holds the trophy, and the winner cf the match can challenge.
