Simpson presided and a varied programme of dancing, vocal and instrumental items was contributed by Mis; Twaddle, Misses Tait and Palmer, Messrs. Cunningham, Buchan, Simpson, and Piper Hamilton, Elthani Pipe Band, and the Society s orchestra.. l)uring the course ol the evening the chairman, oil behall of the Scottish Society, presented to f.hc Pit ham 'Pipe Band a leopard skin for the use cl the big drummer.
