LONDON, Dec. 8. The All Blacks are having a most enjoyable tour in the Midlands. After the Combined Services match on Saturday the team will take up its residence in secluded quarters on the south coast, where the fifteen to meet England. will be selected and undergo special preparation. Newspapers are featuring the suggestion that an extra match should be arranged between the New Zealanders and a combined team, representing England, Wales and Ireland, to be played at the Wembley Stadium. The proposal emanated from a group of Cardiff sportsmen, but at present it is purely nebulous. The English Rugby Union has not heard anything officially of it, and it is understood that the New Zealanders are not disposed to supplement their original fixture list. Reports are being circulated that Northern Union agents made tempting offers to leading All Black players to remain in England at the conclusion of the tour. Peelers were put out following the first, match of the tour against Devon, and renewed after the Ireland game. Nepia, Cooke, Nicholls, Richardson and M. and C. Brownlie are most sought after.
It. is stated that Nepia summarily rejected an offer of £ISOO cash and salary, but the agents are reported to be persisting in their efforts.
