/ COLLISION IN IRISH SEA. ’ BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT . . LONDON; Dec. 8. The steamer Nowshera, belonging to / the British India Coinpany, collided, with the steamer Lutchmore in the ! / Irish Sea. Neither vessel was seriously damaged, but the Nowshera. returned to Liverpool. She had some plates scratched below the water-line. DISPUTE ENDS FATALLY. LONDON, Dec. 8. During an Association football match in Phoenix Park, Dublin, two players argued over an alleged foul. Blows were struck and the referee ordered the men off the field. The scuffle was renewed on the side-line, during which one player (O’Brien} fell and died in hospital a few hours later. . CROPLEY COMMISSION. SYDNEY, Dec. 9. The Royal Commission which . has been inquiring into the alleged corruption in connection with the City Council has concluded. It will probably present its report to the Government at the end of the week.
