WAVERLEY RACING CLUB.

(To the Editor). ki.ri On behalf .of the Waverley Racing Club I would ask that you correct an error which has been made by your correspondent from Waverley. In the report of a. meeting of the EgniontWanganui Hunt Club ‘held on Saturday last it is stated that delegates were present from the Kgmont-Wanganui Hunt Club and the Waverley Racing Club when the question of amalgamation cf the Hunt Club with the Racing Club was considered and a motion carried refusing to entertain the proposal. The report is incorrect when it is stated tliat delegates were present from the Racing Club, as the Racing Club was not represented. In fairness to the Racing Club, which has not considered the suggested amalgamation, and cannot do so without the consent of the Hunt Club, I ask that the error be corrected. Thanking you in anticipation.—l am, etc., . G. H. GRAHAM, Waverley, Dec. 9. Chairman.
