Last quotations November 21: Lamb, 13J per lb (average;. Mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 9d per lb, heavy B§d; ewe, light 7-gd, heavy 7d.” Messrs A. H. Turnbull and Co. have received a cable from Messrs W. Weddel gild Co., Ltd., dated London, sth inst., reading:—“Danish butter, 232 s to 234 s (last week 238 s to 2405); New Zealand unsalted, 214 s to 216 s (218 s to 2205); New Zealand salted, 202 sto 204 s (208 s to 210 s). Exceptionally New Zealand salted, first Government grade, up to. 2065; market slow. Cheese; White 92s t'o 93s (90s to 91s), coloured 82s (90s to 91s). Old season’s cheese, coloured and white, 93s to 945; market steady.”

Fair demand for New Zealand lamb; market firm. Mutton —New Zealand prime crossbred, Canterbury heavy and light not quoted; North Island, heavy Bd, light Bfd. Moderate demand for New Zealand mutton; firm. Beef—New Zealand prime ox hind* s|-d, fores 4fd. Active demand for New Zealand beef ; market weak. Australian frozen meat—Good average quality crossbred lamb, Australian heavy not quoted, light 13d. Good demand for Australian lamb. Australian mutton not quoted.
