The new sleeping ears for use on the Main .Trunk line now under construction are to be a thoroughly modern design, and will mark a considerable advance on the existing type of ear. According to a letter received "by the New Zealand Tourist League from the office of the Minister of Bailways the new cars are being equipped with wardrobes, washing facilities, reading lights and an improved style of bed. and should add greatly to the comfort and convenience of train travellers.
