There was a good .attendance, but the track was heavy after the first two races. The totalisator handled £12,797. Results:— Trial Plate, six furlongs. Arch Opal 1, Waiwhakaata 2, lllinger 3. Also' started; Flor-de-nave, Lilac Domino, Muri Aroha, 'Native: Girl, Kaliepoto, Sea Comet, Tangitangi, Tony, Queen Mose, West Abbey. ‘ Won by -two lengths, a length between second and tfiird. Time, 1.18. Taringamotu Pack Handicap, six furlongs.—Finnote 1, Peter Rosa 2, Rarangi 3.. Also started: Strongholt-, Piton. Won by a length and threequarters, two lengths between second and third.
