A CYCLONE.
SWEEPS ACROSS TOWN. HEAVY DAMAGE REPORTED

Received -Dec. 8, 2.10 p.m , BRISBANE, Dec. 8. A cyclonic storm struck the town of Blackwall, and did considerable damage. Trees were uprooted and telegraph and telephone wires tom down. The "Town Hall collapsed, and took with t part of . the roof of the Telegraph .which , adjoined. Shops and offices m the business part of the town were wrecked or unroofed.' Several houses also faired badly. Tim electric lighting system was thrown out of Order. Following the wind came torrential rain, which added to the disaster. Full details are not yet availably owing to the line of communication still being down. ■ .
