“THE DANGEROUS COWARD.’’ Fpr years Torn/ Mix,* .ynth. his'-mar-vellous hprse, ■ ‘ Tony, 77 has held sway,but now another 'brilliant star has arisen to dispute the crown of popularity—Fred Thpjnson, repgted to be the greatest all-round athlete of the screen, with his almost human horse “ Silver King..” His first release ,in New Zealand, “The Dangerous Coward,” is an interesting ’picture, and one which should more than satisfy those who like exciting stories/ It is full of romance, adventure and and depicts, amongst other thrills/ah exciting rodeo and a climax, in which a mad dash in an a.uto ends when the car goes over the bank. The plot concerns a girl, who is loved by both the hero and the villain; a dance hall “vampire,’’ and a cripple of the kind seen in the “Miracle Man.” Fred Thomson is ably supported by his wonder horse SiLver King; which does some new and yery intelligent tricks. /An excellent supporting programme will be presented. ,-.;,/.
