Although Mr Reddihough was re l garded as the first of half-a-dozen woo-l millionaires engaged in Bradford, he was the least talked about, for while! all the others have boiight castles ahd big estates in Scotland and ;other parts of the kingdom, Mr Reddihough lived a quiet, unostentatious life at Beech Mount, Baildon, near Bradford. He did not even have a motor-cat, preferring to walk or use trams or trains. He was the son of a small farmer, and worked as a journeyman tailor till he was 21. Leaving the ■tailoring, he began as a' dealer in waste, which he collected from flic local mills, and by diligent attention to business he worked himself intb the front rank of wool merchants, with interests in all parts of the world. His only other interests were in connection with the Wesleyan Cliuicli. He was a regular attender at Baildon Wesleyan Chapel, and a generous supsupporter of charitable causes.
