The Daily Sketch revives the story of a curse in connection with Tutankhamen’s tomb, and is publishing photographs of Sir Lee Stack in connection with the curse.
[lt will he remembered'that the supposed curse of Tutankhamen was revived by the death of Lord Carnarvon, who was associated with Mr. Carter in the discovery of the tomb of one of the ancient kings of Egypt. The tomb, by the way, is supposed to contain the mummified body of . the Joseph of the Bible.] ‘

CONSTANTINOPLE, Dec. 4. General Sir William Brancker, director of civic aviation, who left London by air on November 20 eh route to India, was expected here yesterday, but has not yet arrived.
The purpose of General Brancker’s flight is to discuss the question of' air line between India and Burmah,, and the establishment of an airship service between Britain and India. ' General Brancker, according to a recent cable, will be the first to fly from Britain in a civil machine across Turkey to Constantinople, Angora and Aleppo. ' .He will discuss with the Turkish authorities the establishment of -a- permanent airway to India by that route instead of via Egypt.
