PRINCE OF WALES.
VISITS EDINBURGH. BY C/BLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Dec. 3. In connection with the Prince of Wales’ visit to Edinburgh University, Sir Alexander Grant, of MacVitie and Price, biscuit manufacturers, has given £50,000 towards the cost of science laboratories. He has previously given the Scottish National Library £IOO,000, as well as £30,000 and a, motor-car to Mi-. Ramsay MacDonald. ' Tlie Earl of Elgin welcomed the Prince of W r ales as Prince of Scotland. His Royal Highness was admitted to membership of the Grand Lodge of Scotland in the- Freemasons’ Hall at Edinburgh.
