With reference to a statement that there was a danger of a considerable influx into Australia of Jugo-Slavs, Greeks and other southern Europeans, Mr Bruce stated that arrangements have been made that passport vises for Australia, in favour of Jugo-Slavs and Greeks should not exceed a hundred monthly of each nationality. Preference would be given to those who have a knowledge of'English and possess some capital or intend to proceed to Australia for the purpose of joining close relatives.
