SUGGESTIONS AT PRESS UNION. BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT LONDON, Dec. 2. ' Speaking at the annual meeting of the Empire Press Union, Sir Robert Donald announced that the new Government was not reappointing the Wire, less Committee. He expressed opposition to merging wireless into the present administrative machinery of telegraphs and telephones, but said there ought to he a new department, under the Postmaster-General, to handle wireless. He urged the establishment of an Imperial Communications Board to keep in touch with the Dominions in regard to the development of Empire wireless. Lord Burnham said he thought the matter of the provision of wireless communication was in a worse condition than ever.—Reuter
