On the. same charge Alfred R. Walcosts WaS aS ° ne d 25s and 7s court Milton Bailey, who was charged with nding a motor-cycle at Normanby wit-h----o\iu a front number attached, was fined and is court costs. For a similar offence George Wm. atts was fined £1 and 7s court costs. i* ledenck Charles Hawke, for driving a motor car around a corner on the wrong side of the road was fined 30s and is. court costs. Samuel A. F. Haigb, who rode a motor cycle round a corner on the wrong side of the road was convicted and discharged, because too long a time had elapsed 'between the time of the breach, and the time defendant had been interviewed by the police. Defendant said he had no recollection of having committed the offence, but the Magistrate agreed that there was no nlame attachable to the police for the delay. Arnold Watson, who, in riding a motor cycle, cut the corner of High street and Regent street on the wronoside of the road was fined £1 and 7s court costs..
