The liquor law violations in the national capital detected by the city police totalled 14,013 during the'last fiscal year ,• 9013 persons were arrested for intoxication, and more than 20,000 gallons of high-power illicit beverages were seized. Liquor violations have increased by 1244 arrests over the previous year.
