(by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. m AUCKLAND, Dec. 1. The Takapuna Jockey Club’s ‘spring meeting concluded to-day. The weather was fine, and there wa6 a large attendance. The totalisator handled £46,999 10s, compared with £53,401 on the second day last year. The grand total for the meeting was £98,617, compared with £95,324 last year. Results: Stanley Hurdles Handiean, one mile and a, half:—Knighthood (Watson) 1, Cool Stimulants 2, Prince Abbey 3. Also started: Waioeka Jack, Daddy’s. Girl, Advent, Scrap o’ Paper,) Lady Hill, Just Quietly, Leo Abbey, Irish Jig, Guianform, Ardnalea, Stonewall, Totara Jack, Wish Wynne, Poteen. Waioeka Jack, while in the lead, fell at the last hurdle, ‘and Knighthood scored an easy victory, being 12 lengths in front of Cool Stimulants, who was three lengths in front of Prince Abbey.
