ALLEGED THEFTS
WOMAN CHARGED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 29As a result of arrests made last evening three women appeared in court this morning charged with stealing a piece of silk valued at £5, the property of the D.I.C. The police stated that other charges are pending. The names were suppressed in the meantime. The women were all middle-aged and welldressed. They were remanded.
