The first day of the Fo.rbury Park meeting was favoured with beautiful weather, the track was in good order, and there was a large attendance. President’s Handicap; 2 miles—'Lady Joan (Holmes) 1, Delaven Quest 2, Harbour Light 3. Lady Joan niaintained her advantage throughout, and in the run home resisted a .challenge from Delaven Quest, winning by two lengths.
