Jennings, Mies Lysaght (Mokoia); flowers and cakes, etc., Park and Hawera Bowling Clubs; magazines, Hawera Gentlemen’s Club; books and magazines, Mrs Spice, Mrs Sutton; magazines, Miss Vowless, Mrs R. F. Page; cakes, Mrs ®teer; flowers, books, cakes and eggs, W.C.I.U: (Normanby); jam, magazines and cakes, Mrs Gain (Normanby); eggs for patients and staff, Mrs Price; cakes, Mrs Kemp; flowers, cakes, etc., Presbyterian jubilee festival; eggs, Junior Red Cross Circle, the school, Eltham; flowers, Methodist Show (church); books, Mr Seaver. _ The following letter was sent from Eltham School : "The School, Eltham, October 30, 1924. Dear Matron,—One of our Junior Red Cross Circle members suggested that to-day we should have an ‘egg day’ for your hospital. Jrc result is that we are forwarding a box of fresh eggs, which we hope you will _ accept. We prefer the eggs” to be used for those patients who have no relatives or friends near them or. who cannot afford these small luxuries. —I ®rn, yours faithfully, C.
