HONOUR FOR A MUSICIAN. MR, ROBERT PARKER. telegraph—press association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 28. The Royal Academy of Music, London, has conferred the title of Hoii. R-A.M. upon Mr Robert Parkex in recognition of his great services to music in New Zealand. This title is very rarely awarded, even in England Those who hold it are. few, and so far as is known this is the first award in New Zealand or Australia.
