THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27. The Government Meteorologist telegraphed as follows: For twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for westerly winds; the weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled; rain probable; barometer falling, but rising after about twenty hours; sea heavy; tides good.
