Light showers fell towards the close of the day. The totalisator handled £45,634, compared with £64,448' on the second day last year, the grand total for the meeting being £102,169 IQs, against £114,784 last year; Results: Innovation Handicap, one mile and a half.—Peter Tracey (Pollard) 1, Waikaha 2, Peter McDonald 3. Also started: Don Zolock, Lady Stepney, Deballzac, Catehlite, Grattan Wilkes, Lady Viva, Lady Ena, Sherwood Surprise, Peter Ilam, Sunrise, Ngatira, Some Jazz, The Tartar, Elsa Nore, Bon Bon, Golden .Gate, Katalo (late Prince), Audex. Won by three-quar-ters of a length, two lengths between second and third. The Tartar was fourth. Time, 3.44 3-5. Epsom Handicap, one mile and a half. —La Soniiette (Shepperd), and Admiral Hood (A.
