The luck of the wicket was about evenly distributed, though England was favoured a little yesterday. He paid tribute to' Collins’ sportsmanlike action in proposing that the game he finished yesterday, when eyerything was in England’s favour. He was very satisfied at the team’s performance on the first hard wicket of the tour. There was no doubt the side was improving with match practice.
