FLOWER SHOW. Exhibitors anti others interested are i eminded of the Okaiaiva flower show, to be held in the local hall on Wednesday, 26th inst. The entries close today (Tuesday), at o p.m., but late entries will be received on the mornmg of the show. This show is steadily growing, and the committee have this year decided to enlarge the accommodation by erecting a. marquee. Severalvaluabe trophies are to be competed foi, and, given favourable conditions, a most; successful show is assured. For the evening a good musical programme is being arranged, and this, in addition to various competitions, should provide a good evening’s entertainment.
The young folks of the neighbourhood will be glad to know that a Christmas tree is to be held in the Auroa Hajl early in December. • Particulars will be advertised later.
