, LONDON, Nov, 22. The last issue of the Sportsman was published this morning. The paper is to be incorporated with the Sporting Life on Monday. AUSTRALIAN TARIFF. LONDON, Nov. 22. Sir Philip Lloyd-Greame (president of the Board of Trade) meets representatives of the Federation of British Industries on November 25 to discuss Australian tariff changes. NEW BANK OF ENGLAND. LONDON, Nov. 22. The last official of the Bank of England leaves the building to-day, when rebuilding will be begun. This may last five to ten years. The opposition to interference with the old building has been conciliated by the retention of the great outer wall familiar throughout the world, and a gigantic new building will be erected within the old boundaries. DUEDIN EXHIBITION. LONDON, Nov. 22. It has been definitely decided that the Government will arrange an exhibit at the 1925 exhibition at Dunedin. The closest harmony prevails between the Department far Overseas Trade and the British commercial section in connection with this matter. TRAFFIC IN OPIUM. LONDON, Nov. 22. * The Geneva correspondent of the Daily Chronicle reports that the Japanese delegation to the opium conference state that they have received instructions from their Government not to make: any concessions regarding certificates of importation of opium. This, it is considered, will possibly render the conference abortive. PORRITT’S LATEST. LONDON, Nov. 22. Porritt, the New Zealander, at Oxford, won the 220 yards trial for the relay team against Cambridge in 21 4-ssec.
