STRIKE IN NAPIER.
PORT. WORKERS STOP. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, Nov. 24. Workers engaged in storing case oil in the stores at the port'ceased operations on a demand for pay at the rate of 2s 6d per hour being refused. The award rate is .Is ll£d, but the men engaged consider the work is of the same nature as that for which the wafersiders are paid 2s 6d.
