A full attendance of buyers, representing American, Bradford,’ Continental and New Zealand manufacfaced the rostrum at the -second avool sale of the -season at Napier this morning. Though the top price so far recorded was 82’d for fine SonthdoAvn aa'oo-1 , prices for good crossbred lots Avere steady at from 27d to 29’,d, while for necks, pieces and cnitcliing-s the demand Avas phenomenal, crutchings that were passed in at the .August sale at 13d realising 17d. Lambs’ wool AA'as also keenly sought, thoggh little Avas offering. The general tone of the sale. Ava-s verv buoyant and steady. ,Thc avool offering was of excellent -class, mostly early clips from the Heretannga Plains district and coastal stations.
