MR NICOLSON’S STOCK,

SALE AT SHOW GROUNDS.

Pedigree Jersey cattle from the welvjiowii herd of Mr John Nicolson were sold bv the Farmers’ Co-op. at the Show Grounds to-day. There was a large attendance of buyers, and every--thmg gave promise of a successful sale. Mr Nicolson’s herd Ims increased beyond the carrying capacity of his small property, and he has decided to dispose of the ivliole of his pedigree stock with the exception of three yearling heifers and heifer calves. When selecting his stock Mr Nicolson has taken care to purchase animals from only proven strains of the desired type. ..Details of the purchases are as folloivs: Hero’s Lady Viola (Holly Bank Hero Lady Binnie). —Mr W.
