LONDON, Nov.' 19. _[The Daily Express says that after failures, half-hearted efforts and delay, Britain has at last set to work earnestly to establish the .world’s greatest airship service.]
Cordington, a village near Bedford, is destined in a few years to become the largest air port in the service to Europe. Empire airships will arrive and depart from this port, and they will commence services to Egypt, India Australia, Canada and South Africa: It is officially announced that preliminary construction work is being carried out ' by the Air Ministry. RlOl, a mammoth sister airship to the one referred to on November 6 (twice as large as the biggest Zeppelin), will have a rustless steel hull and seven engines, developing 4000 horse-power. The speed will be seventy miles per hour, and she will carry 100 passengers, who will sleep in two-bertli cabins! There will be a separate deck amidship. The air liner will be designed for alternative war service.
