JELLICOE’S FAREWELL. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON,, Nov. 17. The Governor-General paid a farewell visit to- H.M.S. Dunedin and Veronica this morning. In a large wharf shed lie -was received by a guard of honour of 100 seamen and stokers from H.M.S. Dunedin and tile Dunedin’s hand. After inspecting the guard he went on board, being received by a guard of Royal Marine's. The officers were then presented to his Excellency, who afterwards walked round the companies of both ships. At the conclusion all assembled on the quarter-deck, and Viscount Jellicoe tr C | e good-bye.’ The commander of H.M.S. Dunedin briefly replied and called for three, cheers for their Excellencies. These were given in hearty sailor fashion. The guards again assembled, and their Excellencies went ashore.
